With Nicky Rowland
Q: How did it feel to have a big win at home last Friday night?
A: The first home game is always a fun game. Olton came over and played hard and gave us a good fight. But winning in the fashion that we did I think will help us down the road.
Q: What is your favorite "Coach Smart-ism"?
A: One of my favorite saying of Smart's is "near perfect weather". It could be snowing with 60 mph winds and Coach Smart would be saying "near perfect weather," to let us know that no matter what, we still need to play like we're taught.
Q: As the quarterback, how much do you love your linemen?
A: Without them, I'm well, "dead". They do a great job and I understand that sometimes people are going to slip through but it's my job to escape sometimes. They have worked real hard and have developed into a great offensive line.
Q: What are you goals for this season?
A: One goal of mine is to be consistent. To have a great game every week and make the plays that I need to make, game in and game out.
Q: Who is your biggest fan?
A: Probably my family. They're there for me every week whether it is cooking us food before the game or critiquing me on my game.
